The Great Cover Up is an upholstery workshop, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, devoted to giving customers individualized attention on all their projects. At The Great Cover Up we may keep our calendar booked well in advance, but you will never find us rushing any job. We have one speed, and it's 'DO IT RIGHT!'

Free Estimates By phone:   A quick and rough estimate based on your description By digital picture:   E-mail us a picture to "info@tgcu.com" and we'll respond within 1 business day with a written estimate. By appointment:   Set up a time to stop by the shop or to have us visit you. We charge a trip fee of $30 (within 20 minutes of Ann Arbor) that can be deducted from upholstery costs of $350 or more.

Upholstery Fabric The Great Cover Up is pleased to offer a large selection of upholstery fabrics but we do not require that you purchase fabric from us.

Furniture Pick-up and Delivery   We are happy to provide pick-up and delivery service upon request. The fee for service is based on the size of the furniture and the distance from the shop.

Coil Springs Yes, we do coil springs. If required, coil springs are hand-tied in an 8-way configuration. The need for re-tying is discussed when the piece is inspected.
